About NIZLOPI

Luke Concannon - vocals, acoustic guitar and percussion
John Parker - double bass, human beatbox and acoustic guitar

NIZLOPI are considered as one of the best live acts of the UK - with good reason. Their shows are stunning and have no rival - mind-blowing music in an intimate, authentic, charming, entertaining atmosphere, performed with virtuosity.
With their fusion from celtic folk, hip hop, jazz and soul NIZLOPI created a unique sound.
2005/2006 they hit the No 1 of the charts in UK and Ireland with their "JCB Song" taken from their first album "Half These Songs Are About You". With more than 400,000 sold singles a phenomenal succes for them and the small family-run independant label FDM Records.

NIZLOPI's latest album "Make It Happen" was recorded with legendary producer Phill Brown who has produced for artists such as Bob Marley in the past. On this album they chose a natural warm and earthy sound that refers more to their live sound.

NIZLOPI first appeared in Germany when they accompanied Jamie Cullum on his European tour in 2006 and played their first complete gig over here in June 2008 - also at THE SHOWCASE, which was the most stunning show in the chronicals of our concert series.

After 1500+ worldwide shows, a chart conquering number 1, two studio albums and one ‘Mini Album’, half a million records sales, numerous industry awards and musical adventures to just about every corner of the planet the band have decided its time to take a break. And it's uncertain where this break leads Luke and John to.

All the happier we are, that NIZLOPI will celebrate their last night with us.
